A Drunk Guy said, "If yesterday was tomorrow today will be Friday." On what day did the Drunk guy said this?

(A) - Monday
(B) - Tuesday
(C) - Wednesday
(D) - Thursday
(E) - Friday
(F) - Saturday
(G) - Sunday
Answer:
Sunday.

From Sunday, yesterday is Saturday.

Yesterday = Tomorrow = Saturday

Saturday is tomorrow from Friday
its Wednesday, (x-2), where x is the day in the question. now using alphabets if say A was C.....where A is yesterday and C is tomorrow, then B becomes today. Now since A is now C, yesterday becomes C. Therefore if C is now yesterday then in the alphabets what letter becomes today.( D). note that D here is same as x(the day in the QUESTION) . Move two steps back, arrives at B( thats the day ur looking for.)....ABCD

  • It seems like it would be today, but I'm going to break down the logic of the sentence:

If today is yesterday and tomorrow is today then what is yesterday's tomorrow?

Using real definitions, if today is yesterday, then we can assume that today is wednesday. If tomorrow is today, then tomorrow is thursday.

We know that yesterday=previous day, today=current day, and tomorrow=next day; those are the words we use to signify these concepts.

Now, using the riddle's logic: today=previous day; tomorrow=current day, and yesterday=previous day. There is no defined term for next day.

Knowing this and plugging in the formula, we get: yesterday's(yesterday=previous day) tomorrow (tomorrow=current day) which would be wednesday (yesterday).

I know it sounds confusing, but the answer is really wednesday (yesterday). Try reading over my
answer a few times and you will see why.
